The owner John Collins, began working in the plumbing and pipefitting industry with his father in 1999 right after graduating high school and on weekends during high school.  He has been professionally trained from the best training available.  He completed a 5 year in-classroom and 10,000 hour state approved plumbing apprenticeship with verified 1 on 1 training with a Journeyman Plumber.  The training John has received is far above the minimum state level requirements for the standard plumber.  John also holds Master Plumbing licenses in 3 states including Washington State, Medical Gas licenses, and ect.  After 25 years of working on residential, commercial, restaurant, industrial and medical plumbing systems.  He is grateful to have been trained and worked with the best in the industry.  John has been Forman on very high profile jobs for Boeing, Amazon, Facebook, Major Hospitals, Schools in King, Snohomish, Whatcom and pierce counties.  If you are desiring to hire the most educated and most experienced Journeyman Plumber on Whidbey Island than John should be your first call.  John only uses quality parts and installs quality craftsmanship way above minimum plumbing codes.  You will only get a licensed plumber to show up to your home when you call Golden Plumbing.  John will not send apprentices alone to your home for quality control reasons and your safety.  He follows all the state licensing supervision laws because your safety and health is his first priority.  We don't want to have inexperienced plumbers installing sub standard plumbing work.  Whether you call Golden Plumbing or another plumbing contractor, do yourself a favor and ask the plumber in your home for his residential only or Journeyman plumbing license.  You do not want to get stuck paying for a trainee learning on the job with no proper supervision.  John rarely goes into homes that do not have at least 2-3 plumbing code violations that can make you sick, kill you or cause serious damage to your home on Whidbey Island.  We highly recommend making sure the plumber in your home is actually a licensed journeymen with the proper training required.  Pictured with John, is "Chewy" the reason for the name Golden Plumbing.
